Homemade Orange Popsicles… Oh, yeah! These fresh and juicy Vitamin C pops turned out our two monkeys’ latest summer obsession. Healthy and refreshing ice-cold treats that keep them cool (and happy!) in the summer heat.
Summertime bliss: Homemade Orange Popsicles (Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free)
Living in Thailand gives us the unique chance to enjoy a great variety of exotic fresh fruits. Lucky us! They are such a wonderful base for incredibly delicious homemade vegan pops & ice creams, that the kiddos just LOVE eating of course : ) In fact, one of my favorite daily routines is to prepare some yummy afternoon ice cream delights for our cuties. And these 5-minute Homemade Orange Popsicles were my latest surprise for them.
Homemade Orange Popsicles: 5-minute easy recipe
Packed with Vitamin C, these tasty and refreshing immune boosters are the perfect summer snack for the little ones. The recipe is super quick and easy to make! All you need is some sweet and juicy oranges, coconut milk and pure vanilla extract. Since the oranges here in Thailand are super sweet, there is no need to add any agave or maple syrup.
Ingredients for Fresh & Juicy Homemade Orange Popsicles (Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free):
2-3 sweet and juicy oranges, peeled
50 ml coconut milk
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp. agave or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions for Fresh & Juicy Homemade Orange Popsicles (Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free):
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
2. Pour the magical mixture into popsicle molds. Insert the popsicle stickers in the center of the molds.
3. Chill in freezer for at least 3-4 hours until ready to serve.
4. Remove popiscles from freezer at least 5 minutes before serving. Run warm water over the molds to release the popsicles.
5. Serve and enjoy!
