Hey, dear friends! Let’s kick off the new week with this Watermelon, Mango & Pineapple Smoothie bliss. A refreshing, energizing tropical heaven that will give you an awesome start of the day!
As you already know, we’re currently living on the beautiful island of Phuket, Thailand and we can’t stop enjoying the abundance of incredibly delicious local fruits. In fact, one of our favorite family rituals is the weekly visit of the colorful Rawai Market, where we usually buy tons of super yummy tropical fruits.
As huge smoothie lovers, we’ve experimented with lots of flavors so far, and I think this Watermelon, Mango & Pineapple Smoothie heaven has become one of our beloved smoothie recipes. Let’s take a peek!
Ingredients for Tropical Watermelon, Mango & Pineapple Smoothie Heaven:
Serves 2
1 cup chopped watermelon, seedless
1 cup chopped mango
1 cup chopped pineapple
2 ripe bananas
1 tsp. maca powder
1 tbsp. chia seeds, soaked
coconut water to adjust the consistency
Instructions for Tropical Watermelon, Mango & Pineapple Smoothie Heaven:
1. Soak chia seeds the night before or at least 15-20 minutes before making your smoothie.
2. Place the watermelon, mango, pineapple and banana in a blender. Add a little coconut water to adjust the consistency and blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the maca powder and chia seeds and blend for another 30 seconds.
4. Serve in jars or glasses and garnish with some beautiful tropical fruits.
